HOW TO REACH GUDAURI MOUNTAIN SKI RESORT

The Gudauri mountain ski resort is located in the Kazbegi region, in the northern part of Georgia. The resort is situated along the Georgian Military Highway near the Cross Pass. The administrative centre of the region is Stepantsminda.

The only ways to reach Gudauri are by driving, by taking a taxi or a mini-bus from Tbilisi.

The resort is situated 120 km north of the Tbilisi International Airport.

In order to take a mini-bus you will need to get to Didube bus station in Tbilisi, adjacent to metro station “Didube” or simply use a transfer service from Tbilisi International airport. Almost all hotels, guesthouses, and hostels in Gudauri will arrange transfers upon request.

You can catch a taxi directly on the streets of Tbilisi, but since most of them have no meters to measure the fare for the journey, make sure you negotiate the price beforehand. You may also order a taxi by calling a cab service. The operator will quote the price for the journey.
